Yes yes ladeez and gents, it's that time of the year. Bossa Boogie turns 1, nuff reason for a nice lickle Birthday Bash. Saturday, June 11 is the day, C-P Wilhelmina is the place.

For this special occasion the Bossa Boogie Boys will be representing in style, and we invited not one but four very special guest stars for the evening: the ultrafunkular LEFTIES SOUL CONNECTION will be performing live on stage. With a fresh 45 entitled "Peacock Strut" just out on Melting Pot, these fellas are HOT like that thing Snoop Dogg dropped! Check their website for audio files and other infos. Believe.

Furthermore, we'll give away a couple of them exclusive superfunky Bossa Boogie CD's to the early visitors, and special Bossa Boogie T-shirts will be available at the venue.

BOSSA BOOGIE PRESENTS :: JAZZ CONNECTIONS
Every other Sunday around tea time: Bossa Boogie presents Jazz Connections, connecting the dots between all styles, but focussing mainly on downtempo grooves with a jazzual twist. Bossa nova, nu-jazz, b-bop, broken beats, soul, reggae, sleazy funk and anything else the Bossa Boogie Crew feels like playing. The first tune will be dropped at 3PM and finish is when the clock strikes 7PM.

On Friday, June 24 Aguuzto and Dewey Sakitumi will be spinning @ Paard van Troje, The Hague, and if you happen to be in the neighbourhood, on June 23 Lubacov will be dropping the funky choons @ Marula, Madrid, alongside the mighty HiTop Records head honcho, El Gran Lapofski.
