Things are going to get real sweaty in Pakhuis Wilhelmina, with Dewey, Aguuzto and ofcourse our very special guest star Monsieur Monte La Rue! What else is going down @ Bossa Boogie HQ? We back up our funky friend Phil Horneman for his Wicked Jazz Sounds cd-releaseparty @ Paradiso (April 8). We’re to play this Easter on all three days of the wonderful and stylish Maison Royale festival in Amsterdam, together with (again) Phil Horneman, Maestro, Five Corners Quintet, Jazz Invaders and Jules Deelder (check www.maison-royale.nl), and Aguuzto is letting out his inner unshaven French guy on April 23rd, when he’s playing filles sourires and other gaul delights in the Amsterdam Odeon Club @ Putumayo’s Paris Cafe-cd launch. Furthermore, Dewey & Aguuzto spin every two weeks on Sunday afternoon @ Cafe Festina Lente in Amsterdam. And yes, on May 27th we’re celebrating the 2nd anniversary of Bossa Boogie with a very very very special guest – check our website in the coming months for who that will be.
