Whilst hoping for an early spring, we bring you some joyful news on what the BB-boys are up to.

1) Jazz NOT Jazz Chart presentation @ Bitterzoet, wednesday 14 february
Tomorrow Dewey Sakitumi and Aguuzto will play an early set at the presentation party of the brand new Jazz NOT Jazz chart, that will be featured in JAZZ Magazine and on Arrow FM.
Also a live performance by Gare du Nord and sets from Phil Horneman, Antal, Jazz Diggers, Monte La Rue and Maestro. Check www.bitterzoet.com for more info.

2) Bossa Boogie on DJbroadcast.FM and 2 new podcasts
As you may or may not know, Bossa Boogie is hosting a weekly 2 hour radio show on DJbroadcast.FM, every sunday from 17:00 - 19:00 h with great music showcasing our sublime taste in downtempo jazz & funk as well as our more uptempo party inspired latin, broken beats and reggae mixups. For those that forget to turn on to the show, we put up some of these mixes in our very own BossaBoogie podcast. All on a very random and irregular basis, but it must be a very pleasant surpise to find not 1 but 2 new shows on your Ipod, as is the case right now if you already subscribed. 3) Dewey Sakitumi @ 3 year anniversary of Pakhuis Wilhelmina, saturday 24 february
Dewey will play a nice BossaBoogie set at the upcoming 3 year anniversary party of Pakhuis Wilhelmina, the venue where all the BB magic happens!! It's all about the lovely people of Wihelmina and you can expect a night chokful of bands, dj's, alcohol and all sorts of mayhem. Sort of private invite-only affair this one, but you can send us a mail or blag your way in.

4) Dewey Sakitumi & Lubacov @ Flexbar, friday 23 march
We got an invite to play at the Flexbar, a great place with 2 rooms, excellent sound and uber-cool design benches!! It's still quite far in the future, so mark your calendars and make sure you don't miss Dewey & Luba's 5 hours megaset. Expect the usual mishmash of funkin beats but also some deeper explorations of our musical universe. (Damn, that sounds pretentious.) check www.flexbar.nl for more info and directions

5) Bossa Boogie @ Wilhelmina Pakhuis, saturday 28 april
Even further out, but worthwhile mentioning is the next regular BB-party. It's our 3 Year Anniversary, and it's going to be ESPECIAL! Live-music, vinyl music, food, drinks, the WORKS! Keep you posted!

6) TimTim and Dewey Sakitumi @ Festina Lente, monday 30 april
Also good to know you should take 1 full day of rest after our party on the 28th of april, so you can be all fresh an revved up again on Queensday, at the yearly Subunited outdoor party @ cafe Festina Lente, where the BB-bwoys will do a lickle dance (Tim won't!) and play some good stuff in the early afternoon. Be there or...........be somewhere else, held up and trying desperately to get there!
